IPFA/PEI 29th International Workshop on Surveillance and Screening of Blood-borne Pathogens

Following the success of this year’s meeting in Porto and the excellent feedback received from attendees; IPFA and PEI are happy to announce that the:

29th International Workshop on Surveillance and Screening of Blood-borne Pathogens

will take place 10-11 May, 2023 in Bologna, Italy

Once again and by popular demand the 29th Workshop will be a fully onsite event, taking place in the historic heart of the beautiful city of Bologna, Italy. The Centro Nazionale Sangue from Italy will act as the local host, supporting the workshop.

The Scientific Programme Committee will be developing the programme content over the coming weeks and we will provide you with an outline as soon as possible. You can however be assured that the content of the meeting will, as always, focus on microbiological issues associated with transfusion of blood components and PDMPs and will be educational, relevant to professionals in the field and stakeholder companies and delivered by recognized international experts.

We warmly invite you to attend this meeting and look forward to welcoming you to this important event.
